Featuring multi-display capabilities and comprehensive connectivity options, this module shares similarities with the VAR-SOM-AM62 while offering significant enhancements – improved RAM, 3D GPU, 4K video acceleration, and a stronger real-time coprocessor.
VAR-SOM-AM62P highlights:
• CPU: Up to 1.4GHz quad-core Arm® Cortex®-A53 TI Sitara AM62P5 and
800MHz Cortex-R5F
• Multimedia: 3D GPU, 3x display, 4K video encoding/decoding, audio and camera interface

High-Performance Edge Computing with i.MX 95 SoM
Alongside the VAR-SOM-AM62P, we will demonstrate the DART-MX95, designed for demanding edge computing applications. Based on the NXP i.MX95 SoC, this module delivers:
• CPU: Up to 2.0GHz six-core Arm Cortex-A55, 800MHz Arm Cortex-M7 and 250MHz Arm Cortex-M33
• Multimedia: Integrated AI/ML NPU acceleration, 2D/3D GPU, 4K video encoding/decoding, display, audio and camera interfaces.
• Advanced security features
• Memory: 16 GB LPDDR5, 128 GB eMMC
• Network and Connectivity: WiFi 6 802.11 ax/ac/a/b/g/n with 802.15.4, Bluetooth/BLE 5.4, 3x Ethernet with dual GbE, 5x CAN Bus and 2x USB
• Industrial-grade temperature support: -40 to 85°C
The DART-MX95 will also be featured at NXP Semiconductors‘ Partner Wall, highlighting Variscite’s platinum partnership with NXP.
